Job Summary

The Workshop Supervisor will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate truck maintenance activities, manage technicians, and ensure efficient repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop operations, maintenance activities, and technician workloads.

• Plan and coordinate truck maintenance schedules to ensure timely servicing and minimise downtime.

• Monitor repair efficiency and ensure work is completed within the agreed timeframes.

• Troubleshoot truck-related technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

• Manage technicians and allocate daily tasks based on operational priorities.

• Ensure workshop activities comply with safety procedures and quality standards.

• Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding repair progress and service requirements.

• Monitor workshop productivity and ensure the effective use of tools, equipment, and resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 7–8 years of relevant experience in workshop operations, preferably involving trucks .

• Previous experience working with a truck dealership will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of truck maintenance, repair procedures, and workshop operations.

• Good leadership, team management, troubleshooting, and coordination skills
