Job Summary
The PM Supervisor supervises all technicians carrying out preventive maintenance tasks
across heavy equipment, vehicles, cranes, forklifts, and lifting machines. The role
ensures maintenance activities are performed safely, correctly, and within planned time-
frames.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the Preventive Maintenance Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
Lead and manage PM technicians during daily operations.
Allocate tasks and monitor performance and output quality.
Provide technical guidance for inspections and lubrication activities.
Ensure all PM tasks are carried out according to checklists and manufacturer recommendations.
Conduct field inspections and verify completion of critical PM points.
Ensure equipment washing, oil sampling, and preparation before PM.
Review completed PM checklists and verify abnormalities.
Report major findings to PM Manager and raise corrective work orders.
Reduce repeat PM findings by improving inspection accuracy.
Follow up with stores regarding PM kits, filters, and consumables.
Ensure proper documentation and submission of PM reports.
Enforce safe working practices for PM activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
6–8 years of experience in preventive maintenance.
Strong mechanical and technical background.
Ability to supervise technicians effectively.
Strong Leadership skill.
Strong Reporting skills.
