Job Summary
Strengthen the monitoring, analysis, and control of fuel management reports and related financial records to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and proper reconciliation of fuel transactions and consumption.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant include, but are not limited to:
Monitor daily fuel transactions and consumption records through the fuel management system.
Analyze fuel reports and identify discrepancies, abnormal consumption, or operational issues.
Prepare periodic analytical reports for management review.
Verify fuel usage data against operational activities and fleet/equipment records.
Coordinate with operations, workshop, and station teams regarding fuel-related investigations and reporting.
Maintain accurate records and support system data integrity.
Assist in improving reporting procedures and fuel control measures.
Support troubleshooting and follow-up related to the fuel management system operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous experience in report analysis, data monitoring, or accounting-related roles.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems.
Attention to detail and strong verification skills.
