Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician – Heavy Machinery to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment across various project sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems in construction machinery, hands-on experience, and the flexibility to work across different locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Electrician – Heavy Machinery include, but are not limited to:

• Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucks

• Diagnose faults in electrical systems including wiring, control panels, sensors, alternators, and starters

• Repair or replace defective electrical components and ensure proper functioning of equipment

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

• Ensure proper installation and connection of electrical components in machinery

• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and job reports

• Follow safety standards and procedures while handling electrical equipment and tools

• Coordinate with mechanical technicians and site teams for efficient maintenance operations

• Attend on-site breakdowns and provide quick and effective solutions

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support smooth operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably with heavy machinery or construction equipment

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components in heavy equipment

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently

• Familiarity with electrical tools, testing devices, and repair techniques

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams

• Basic understanding of safety standards and electrical practices

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site conditions

• Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently

• UAE driving license is an advantage
