Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is looking for a skilled and reliable Technician – Heavy Machinery to support the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy equipment across various project sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience with construction machinery, and the flexibility to work across different locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Technician – Heavy Machinery include, but are not limited to:

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucks

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and carry out effective troubleshooting

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance

• Repair or replace defective parts and components in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and job reports

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and company procedures

• Coordinate with workshop and site teams for equipment availability and repair schedules

• Attend breakdowns on-site and provide quick and efficient solutions

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Assist in minimizing equipment downtime and improving operational efficiency

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support smooth operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance of heavy machinery or construction equipment

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently

• Familiarity with workshop tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures

• Basic understanding of safety standards and practices

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site conditions

• Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently

• UAE driving license is an advantage
