Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is looking for a skilled and experienced AC Technician – Heavy Machinery to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in heavy equipment and machinery. The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems in construction machinery, the ability to diagnose faults, and ensure optimal performance of cooling systems across various project sites.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the AC Technician – Heavy Machinery include, but are not limited to:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair AC systems in heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, cranes, and trucks

• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting of HVAC systems in heavy equipment

• Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical parts

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient performance of AC systems

• Check refrigerant levels, pressure systems, and ensure proper cooling performance

• Maintain service records, job reports, and maintenance logs accurately

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of tools and refrigerants

• Coordinate with workshop and site teams for maintenance schedules and urgent repairs

• Attend breakdowns on-site and provide quick and effective solutions

• Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper handling of equipment and tools

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in HVAC or related technical field

• 3–5 years of experience as an AC Technician, preferably with heavy machinery or construction equipment

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in heavy equipment

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical AC issues

• Familiarity with refrigerants, AC tools, and servicing techniques

• Basic understanding of safety standards and procedures

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site conditions

• Flexible and willing to work across different locations as required
