Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient MEP Engineer – Facility Management to oversee the end-to-end operations and maintenance of MEP systems across multiple facilities.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and compliance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems through the effective execution of preventive and reactive maintenance strategies. This role demands a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) activities across assigned facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance asset-based maintenance plans aligned with system performance, lifecycle requirements, and operational priorities.

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations.

• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Manage emergency breakdowns and technical escalations with a structured and timely approach, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, highlighting performance metrics, maintenance activities, and improvement opportunities.

• Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations, statutory requirements, and HSE standards, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and Toolbox Talks (TBTs) to promote safety awareness and operational excellence across teams.

• Monitor energy consumption trends and drive initiatives to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and support sustainability objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Facility Management (Hard Services) within the UAE.

• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance methodologies, and facility operations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, vendors, and maintenance activities effectively.

• Valid UAE Driving License (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates who are immediately available or on short notice will be given preference.
