Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient MEP Engineer – Facility Management to oversee the end-to-end operations and maintenance of MEP systems across multiple facilities.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and compliance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems through the effective execution of preventive and reactive maintenance strategies. This role demands a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the execution of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) activities across assigned facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
Develop, implement, and continuously enhance asset-based maintenance plans aligned with system performance, lifecycle requirements, and operational priorities.
Monitor, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage emergency breakdowns and technical escalations with a structured and timely approach, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, highlighting performance metrics, maintenance activities, and improvement opportunities.
Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations, statutory requirements, and HSE standards, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and Toolbox Talks (TBTs) to promote safety awareness and operational excellence across teams.
Monitor energy consumption trends and drive initiatives to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and support sustainability objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2–5 years of relevant experience in Facility Management (Hard Services) within the UAE.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance methodologies, and facility operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, vendors, and maintenance activities effectively.
Valid UAE Driving License (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
