Job Summary
The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all field service operations related to heavy machinery across assigned locations within the UAE. The role involves managing and coordinating field service technicians to ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor acts as a key link between customers, the workshop, parts department, and management to ensure smooth service delivery, optimal utilization of manpower and resources, and achievement of operational performance targets. The position also ensures compliance with company policies and UAE safety regulations while supporting continuous improvement in service efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
Plan, schedule, and supervise field service jobs (breakdowns, repairs, PM services).
Allocate technicians based on skill set and job priority.
Provide technical guidance and on-site support when required.
Monitor job completion, service reports, and documentation accuracy.
Ensure proper usage and control of tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
Coordinate with Parts Department for timely availability of spare parts.
Maintain service KPIs (response time, first-time fix rate, productivity, etc.).
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure strict adherence to HSE standards.
Prepare daily/weekly service reports and manpower performance reports.
Ensure warranty compliance and proper documentation for claims.
Handle customer complaints and escalate critical issues to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 5–8 years experience in heavy equipment service, At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role (preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment.
Experience with hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and axles.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
