Job Summary
Al Marwan Developments is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer (Fresher) to support day-to-day engineering activities across project sites. This role is ideal for recent graduates from AUS (American University of Sharjah) or HCT (Higher Colleges of Technology) who are Arabic speakers and looking to start their career in mechanical engineering. The position requires good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and flexibility to work across different Sharjah locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer (Fresher) include, but are not limited to:
Assist senior engineers with mechanical site inspections, equipment monitoring, and technical evaluations.
Support preparation of engineering reports, technical documents, and material submittals.
Review and learn to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, and internal departments for daily engineering needs.
Maintain organized records, logs, and engineering documentation (physical and digital).
Support procurement with technical data collection and specification comparisons.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and engineering guidelines.
Participate in training programs and gain hands-on experience in mechanical systems and project execution.
Assist with any additional tasks assigned by the engineering or project management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from AUS or HCT.
Experience: Fresh graduates; no prior experience required.
Language: Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Strong communication and reporting abilities.
Good computer skills, including MS Office and basic engineering software.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible, proactive, and eager to grow within the engineering field.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory).
