Job Summary

Al Marwan currently looking for a proactive and experienced Camp Boss to manage the day-to-day operations of a labor camp supporting large-scale construction or contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in camp management, excellent leadership skills, and a solid understanding of health, safety, and labor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, security, and facility maintenance.

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained across the camp at all times.

• Maintain discipline and a high standard of living conditions for all residents.

• Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Project teams for staff movements, allocations, and logistics.

• Handle resident concerns, disputes, or emergencies in a professional and timely manner.

• Keep records of occupancy, maintenance, supplies, and incident reports.

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health regulations, and company policies.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.

• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

• Proven experience managing large labor camps with diverse nationalities.

• In-depth knowledge of hygiene and camp safety standards, along with familiarity with local labor laws.

• Strong coordination skills with internal departments like HR, Admin, and Projects.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
