Job Summary
Al Marwan Group is seeking a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on major infrastructure projects in the UAE. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience in cost management, measurement, and contract administration under the guidance of senior QS staff.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets
Support interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
Help monitor project costs, variations, and change control
Assist in subcontractor package evaluation and tender preparation
Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and site instructions
Liaise with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors
Support commercial reporting and progress summaries
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
0–2 years of experience in UAE experience is an advantage
Basic knowledge of FIDIC contracts preferred, familiarity with CESMM an advantage
Proficient in MS Excel, QS software and AutoCAD knowledge a plus
Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
Good English communication skills, Arabic is an advantage
Willingness to work on site-based infrastructure projects
