Job Summary
Al Marwan is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Officer to ensure all materials, supplies, and maintenance-related items meet the required standards before use or approval. The role requires strong knowledge of maintenance materials across multiple categories, excellent evaluation skills, and high integrity in verifying quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the Quality Control Officer include, but are not limited to:
Inspect, verify, and evaluate maintenance materials across MEP, AC, firefighting, fit-out, cleaning, and safety categories.
Assess materials based on quality, specifications, brand standards, and country of origin.
Coordinate closely with procurement, storekeepers, and maintenance teams to confirm material suitability.
Monitor suppliers and ensure delivered materials match approved samples and purchase requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, rejections, and follow-up actions.
Identify non-conforming materials and communicate discrepancies immediately.
Assist in maintaining quality standards across ongoing maintenance and facility projects.
Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and material quality documentation.
Support audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement activities.
Utilize computer systems for documentation, reporting, and data entry (Yardi knowledge is an added value).
Perform additional tasks as required to support quality and maintenance operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical qualification (preferred).
4+ years of experience in quality control, material inspection, or maintenance operations.
Strong knowledge of maintenance materials related to MEP, AC, firefighting, fit-out, cleaning, and safety — including brands and country origins.
Extremely honest, reliable, and able to make unbiased quality decisions.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in computer usage; knowledge of Yardi is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks.
UAE experience preferred.
